First Friday Overnight Adoration

Spend time with the Lord

Adoration begins with Exposition at 9:30am on Friday and the Blessed Sacrament will be repositioned in the tabernacle at 11am.

Adoration begins again after the 7pm Mass. Please be aware that there will be some periods of praise and worship during overnight Adoration. Please see the schedule to the right.

If you are not familiar with the practice of adoration, we supply a handy guide and other reading materials in the vestibule. All you need to do to adore is to show up in the Church sometime on First Friday - for 5 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour, whatever you can spare.

Watchers are needed to sit with our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. We need at least one person signed up for every hour. A sign-up sheet is in the vestibule.

Why Should I Spent an Hour in Adoration?

Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta said, "The time you spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the best time you will spend on earth. Each moment that you spend with Jesus will deepen your union with Him and make your soul everlastingly more glorious and beautiful in Heaven, and will help bring about everlasting peace on earth."
